Remember that we are dealing with an animal with so much of power and with a certain level of consciousness, sensitivity and understanding but not much intelligent-so it has to be controlled and guided properly. Trainees should spend as much time as possible with the horses and understand their behaviors. If you are not able to love and understand the animal, do not try to become a horse rider/horse trainer.
Horse Riding and Horse Management is an art as well as a science involving the human and animal with its own time-tested rules and practices. Human sensibilities alone can't be applied in riding and managing horses, and trainees have to understand animal/horse behaviors to control the animal fully to be a good rider and horse manager.
Horse Riding Trainees have to undertake the course at their own risk and the Academy, its owners, directors, trainers and staff shall not be held liable for any accidents and/or loss suffered during training/riding sessions, including vis major events.
This general principle is also applicable to horse riding and horse rearing and stable management. So, do not expect to become a skilled rider and horse manager overnight through minimum practice. It requires patience, commitment and love of animals/horses.
Hippotherapy is a therapeutic method that uses the horse within an interdisciplinary approach in the areas of health, education and riding, seeking the biopsychosocial development of people with disabilities and / or special needs. Hippotherapy uses the horse as an agent that promotes physical and psychological gains. This activity requires the participation of the entire body, thus contributing to the development of muscle strength, relaxation, awareness of the body itself and improvement of motor coordination and balance.
